President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated ISRO for successful launch of PSLVC37, carrying 104 satellites.

Mukherjee said that the nation is proud of this achievement by ISRO.

Modi also congratulated ISRO for the launch. "Congratulations to @isro for the successful launch of PSLV-C37 and CARTOSAT satellite together with 103 nano satellites!," Modi tweeted.

"This remarkable feat by @isro is yet another proud moment for our space scientific community and the nation. India salutes our scientists," PM wrote.

"Spoke to the Secretary, Department of Space and congratulated him & the entire team of scientists on today's exceptional achievement," Modi wrote in a series of tweet.

Indian rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) on Wednesday morning lifted off successfully with a record 104 satellites, including the country's earth observation satellite Cartosat-2 series.

ISRO attempts a new world record by launching 104 satellites in a single flight of PSLVC 37 from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

ISRO also confirmed the separation of all 104 satellites.
