Last Updated : 07 Feb 2022 12:32:32 PM IST

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first hybrid rally in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh has been called off due to bad weather. He will now be addressing the rally virtually later today. PM was slated to address the rally at the Vardhman Degree College in Bijnor.

This was slated to be PM Narendra Modi's first 'hybrid' rally, which means that while he would be physically addressing a limited number of party workers, the address will be broadcast live across various constituencies in Uttar Pradesh.

In his virtual address, PM will be addressing party workers from 21 constituencies of three districts that go to the polls in the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2022. PM Modi's rally will be broadcast live by the BJP state unit which has put up massive LED screens at 109 divisions.
