Delhi voters did not consider poor air, water: Goa CM Last Updated : 11 Feb 2020 04:08:30 PM IST Goa CM Pramod Sawant Voters of Delhi should have given a thought before voting, as to whether the AAP government had managed to deliver them good quality water and air, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, while reacting to the Aam Aadmi Party's stunning victory in the state elections in the national capital.
Sawant said, that the BJP may have "fallen short" in the poll campaign in the national capital, but he also castigated the Aam Aadmi Party government for giving freebies and not delivering on essentials like good water and air quality."It is tax payers money given free for everything. The fact that they could not control pollution, this should have been paid attention to. Anyhow, we accept the call of the people. We will once again work with gusto in Delhi," Sawant said."I travelled to Delhi for (election) campaigning. We are extremely lucky and satisfied in Goa, compared to Delhi. It is a place where air and water is impure and it affects people's health. No matter how good the government is, people should have known that the government could not deliver on these counts," Sawant said.
