Delhi Metro fare hike: Maximum ticket now Rs 50, minimum Rs 10

Traveling in Delhi metro will be costlier from Wednesday. Delhi metro has approved a hike in the ticket prices.

Once the new rates are effective, the minimum fare will be Rs 10 instead of the current Rs 8 and the maximum fare will be Rs 50. Currently, the maximum fare is Rs 30.

"The board has accepted the revision of fare recommended by a panel. There will be a public notice about the fare tomorrow (Tuesday) and the new rates will be effective from Wednesday," an officer said to media
