England, who had to name a fresh squad after several first-team players tested positive for the novel coronavirus, tamed Pakistan in Cardiff.The Ben Stokes-led side dismissed Pakistan for 141 before chasing down the target in the 22nd over.As it happened:Batting first, Saqib Mahmood rocked Pakistan’s top order restricting the visitors to just 141 all out in 35.2 overs. Matt Parkinson (2/28) and Craig Overton (2/23) were the other wicket-takers.Chasing, Shaheen Shah Afridi snared Phil Salt’s wicket cheap but failed to stop England’s victory charge.
